Garden Morning

Another huge thank you must go to the hard-working individuals who spent their Saturday morning in the Kirstenhof garden. Despite the threat of rain we managed to ward it off until 1 o'clock where by that time all the weeding, pruning, relocation of plants and making of beds was completed. We were very lucky to have a whole team of knowledgable and productive gardeneners on board who created a new bed in the Gr 1 playground, weeded the main beds in the entrance, transplanted clivias, strelitzias, various succulents and a variety of other plants, pruned the bouganvillia at the outer KPS sign as well as the lavender and polygala on the entrance path, and generally revived a bit of life back in to some forgotten areas. Kirstenhof extends a heartfelt thank you to: Mr and Mrs Tomalin, Mrs Jenny Pearson, The Simpson family: Ann, Ross and Emily, The Smith family: Brett, Julie, Hannah and Elijah, The Scholtz ladies: Janet and Jess, Heidi Mahon, Murray, Kegan and his mum Tracey Stotesbury. A very kind Mrs Nathan, friend of Ann Simpson, also donated agapanthus as did Mrs Lindy Tomalin who planted a number of plants she had propegated from her garden in Betty's Bay. What a team! Thank you again to all who helped.
