We have a staff complement of 49. 17 WCED paid educators and the balance, permanent and temporary staff, are Governing Body paid personnel.

Each grade has four classes and a Grade leader co-ordinates matters within the Grade.

There are four phases within the school. Pre Primary (Grade R), Foundation Phase (Grades 1-3), Intermediate (Grades 4-6) and Senior Phase (Grade 7).

The school has a management team that co-ordinates the various portfolios. Officially there are four WCED staff on management. The Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster and three Heads of Department. The Governing Body funds three educators to serve on this team.

Our school has two counselors who offer support and encouragement to all learners, parents and educators.

Our remedial department provides support to those learners with specific needs and we are fortunate enough to have both a speech therapist and an occupational therapist who work from our school.

The Governing Body
The Governing Body is elected by our parents. Educators and non educators for a three year term of office. Their main function is to provide Governance in terms of policies, codes of conduct and financial matters within the school. The Governing Body also nominates and appoints teachers to the school. 

PTA
All parents are encouraged to become involved in the life of the school. We offer opportunities for parents to assist with administrative duties in the classroom. Coaching opportunities, transport, or fundraising ventures.

Our PTA assumes the responsibility to raise funds for capital ventures throughout the year. Class representatives assist the PTA Committee to co-ordinate strategies.

Each term the staff, in consultation with parents and learners, decide on a charity to support.

Our school has linked with Lourier Primary and support them in any manner possible. All learners brings additional sandwiches each Friday for those in need.
